Google API Disclosure
Last updated: 05/08/2026
This page describes how AutoNotes AI, Inc. (“AutoNotes”) accesses, uses, stores, and shares data received from Google APIs.
Scope of Google API access
The public AutoNotes website (autonotes.ai) does not connect to, access, or transmit data to or from any Google API. Its only account-related function is to redirect users to the AutoNotes platform at app.autonotes.ai for login.
Google API access occurs exclusively within the AutoNotes platform and only for authenticated, licensed users. Access is initiated when a user explicitly authorizes the connection through Google’s OAuth consent flow and selects the specific Google account and scopes to share.
Limited Use compliance
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
AutoNotes affirms that data obtained from Google Workspace APIs:
1. Is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features that the user has explicitly requested within the AutoNotes platform, specifically the Calendar feature, which allows users to connect and sync their Google Calendar to AutoNotes so they can view and manage their schedule from one place.
2. Is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI and/or machine learning models.
3. Is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, and only with the user’s consent where required.
4. Is not sold to any party, and is not used for advertising or marketing purposes of any kind.
5. Is not read by humans, except
(a) with the user’s affirmative consent for specific messages,
(b) as necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse,
(c) to comply with applicable law, or
(d) for internal operations where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
Data retention and deletion
AutoNotes retains data received from Google APIs only for as long as necessary to provide the user-facing features the user has authorized.
Users may revoke AutoNotes’ access at any time through their Google Account permissions page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Upon revocation, account deletion, or user request, all Google API data associated with the user’s account is permanently deleted from AutoNotes’ systems within 30 days.
Security
AutoNotes protects Google API data using industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and HIPAA-compliant safeguards where applicable.
